After honing his craft in Chicago doing improv comedy, Andy Richter rocketed to semi-fame when Conan O'Brien chose him to serve as his sidekick on Late Night with Conan O'Brien in 1993. In 2000, he left the show to pursue acting, and he has gone on to headline three sitcoms and appear in several films.
