From The TV IV

Celebrity Poker Showdown each week features five celebrities, playing no-limit Texas hold 'em poker, trying for the chance to play in the championship round, where they can win their charity part of the $250,000 prize pool.

Each season there are six episodes, where the first five episodes are tournament rounds, to decide who plays in the sixth episode's championship game.
