NOTICE: SHUTTING DOWN 4 JAN 2015

On January 4, 2015, I will be shutting down the server that hosts The TV IV website. It has been a very long time since I've been able to put any decent amount of time into the site, and ad revenue is plummeting. I think it is time to shut it down or hand it off to someone who can keep it going properly. If you are interested in taking over the site's code and data, contact administrators at tviv.org. --CygnusTMtalk

Below are the pages for proposing candidates to be considered for winning or being nominated for the IVy Awards, and the archives for past candidates and nominations.

Contents

When voting is open, please feel free to propose as many or as few candidates as you like in each category. Feel free to discuss yours or others' proposals as much or as little as you choose.

Remember, candidates must be proposed here to be eligible for any IVy Awards. If you really feel Danny DeVito absolutely must be nominated for his excellent work this year in Taxi, and nobody has proposed him, and you didn't propose him, don't complain because he received neither a nomination nor the IVy Award. This is the first stage in the IVy Awards voting process, and to continue to the nomination or winning votes stages, candidates must be proposed here.

Please read carefully all of the rules and definitions in each category before proposing a name for consideration. Candidates who do not meet the eligibility requirements will be removed, and notes will be posted as to why they are ineligible for the category. When in doubt, just post a candidate wherever you feel is most appropriate, and they will be moved if necessary. If they are eligible for none of the awards, feel free to post a note in the Future IVy Awards discussion page regarding new categories we might consider or ways in which we might revise the eligibility of shows in certain categories.

To make it easier for our editors during the nomination voting process, please follow the format shown on the proposal pages, and link candidates' names whenever appropriate, even if the linked articles are empty or stubs. If proposing a person, we must have a series for which he or she is being nominated, so be sure to include one. For episodes, please also indicate the series to make it easier for us to track.

Thank you for helping us with the IVy Awards voting process, and best of luck to your favorites.

This year, that list of editors is here. If you are on this list, please contact The-jam immediately either through e-mail or on his talk page to find out how to register to vote (if you voted in previous years and are eligible again you're still registered and can just vote in the same place).
