Chappelle's Show

- Many were scratching their heads over Chappelle's aborted third season, but the irony is the episodes themselves explain precisely why Chappelle felt it necessary to call the whole thing off. What was left of these three episodes was an examination of celebrity and relevance in a mass-media society, and in one sketch sending up Tupac Shakur, Chappelle even pointed out how not even death seems to liberate celebrities from close scrutiny. His closing card may have said, "I'm rich, bitch!" but as Chappelle seemed to suggest in several of the sketches and his subsequent stand-up comedy, in the words of Bob Dylan, "you've gotta serve somebody." Tempermental artist though Chappelle may be, certainly not since David Cross, arguably not since Bill Hicks, and quite possibly not since Richard Pryor has a comedian come so close to being an artist, not an entertainer. -- JCaesartalk 01:28, 16 February 2008 (EST)

- While new to the game Ferguson's show has a nice informal style, sense of humor and does some pretty funny bits. I also really like the flow of the show it's the only network late night show that can keep me engaged all the way through. --The-jam 21:41, 15 February 2008 (EST)
