Will & Grace is a ground breaking sitcom that airs on NBC. It was one of the first television shows to help bring homosexuality to the mainstream.
The show centers on the personal and professional lives of two best friends, gay lawyer Will Truman and straight interior designer Grace Adler. They are joined by their two friends, Jack McFarland, a flaming homosexual actor/nurse, and Karen Walker, a rich socialite with a tough exterior but very deep inner character.
A surprise election-themed reunion mini-episode was released on September 26, 2016 without NBC’s involvement. It immediately triggered talk of a possible real reunion.
KoMut Entertainment, Three Sisters Productions and NBC Studios (in the first six seasons) and its successor NBC Universal Television (in the final two seasons) co-produced the series. While NBC owns the show's ancillary rights, Warner Bros. Television is the TV distributor, while Lionsgate Home Entertainment owns the DVD distribution rights.
