From The TV IV

The MTV Movie Awards is an annual awards show broadcast on MTV. Much like the Teen Choice Awards and People's Choice Awards, viewers vote on their favorite nominees in categories like "Best Film" and "Best Villain." The nominees are chosen by a panel at Tenth Planet Productions, which created the MTV Movie Awards in 1992 and produced it until 2007.
