11 all-star teams set out from Miami and raced for $1,000,000. At the airport, David & Mary booked the wrong flight, but turned the game up a notch by playing a trick on Dustin & Kandice. In Quito, Ecuador, Drew took a painful fall. Rob & Amber arrived first at the pit stop. Navigational woes plagued former dating couple John Vito & Jill and they couldn't recover from being the first team eliminated. Before the second leg began, Drew required medical attention for symptoms of altitude sickness. Rob & Amber and Oswald & Danny fell behind after a flight to Santiago, Chile was delayed. But some teams had problems at the Roadblock. Teams then flew to Calama where Rob & Amber made a comeback. On the way to the pit stop, Charla & Mirna and the beauty queens fought over a taxi fare. But Kevin & Drew missed the speed limit sign and continued to slow down and were eliminated. In the next leg, Charla & Mirna squared off against Teri & Ian at the airport. Then in Puerto Montt, Danielle freaked out at the Roadblock. Joe didn't read the additional information of the next clue. After being lost, they realized the mistake when Mirna pointed it out. Rob & Amber checked in first for the third consecutive time. Dustin & Kandice missed the cluebox at the river banks. Teri took a spill in the rapids at the Detour. David & Mary couldn't overcome navigational woes and were eliminated. In the next leg, teams flew to Punta Arenas. After winning three legs in a row, Rob & Amber ran into trouble at the Detour. Then in Ushuaia, they go head-to-head with Charla & Mirna until a letter finding Roadblock resulted in a footrace to the Pit Stop with Charla & Mirna narrowly escaping elimination. Rob & Amber had a shocking farewell. Teams traveled to Maputo where Eric & Danielle and Joe & Bill go head-to-head. At the Roadblock, teams got up close and personal with a rat. Charla & Mirna finally landed first. A laborious coal task caused Uchenna & Joyce arrive last. But they are marked for elimination instead. In the next leg, Eric & Danielle received a scare when a ticketing error removed them from the plane. But they were able to secure another flight leaving Joe & Bill and Teri & Ian stranded in Johannesburg. Charla & Mirna repeat at the pit stop. Uchenna & Joyce survived a 30 minute penalty without dropping their position. Teri & Ian couldn't recover from airport mishaps and were eliminated. In the next leg, Eric & Danielle and Joe & Bill missed a flight to Warsaw, Poland. Teams grew frustrated at the piano detour task. Joe & Bill are marked for elimination. Teams then got emotional at the Auschwitz-Birkenau. Dustin & Kandice hit a bump when they couldn't partner up with either Uchenna & Joyce or Oswald & Danny at the Intersection and they lost valuble time. Uchenna & Joyce and Oswald & Danny went for the Fast Forward and succeeded and tied for first place. After the detour task, the remaining teams drove to Pieskowa Skała. At the Roadblock, Charla had difficulties maneuvering her body in a metal armor. Joe & Bill couldn't overcome a 30 minute penalty and were eliminated. In the next leg, teams scramble for a flight to Kuala Lumpur. Uchenna & Joyce whose flight to Frankfurt landed ten minutes late couldn't make the connecting flight to Kuala Lumpur and fell hours behind. At Kuala Lumpur, Dustin & Kandice yielded Eric & Danielle. At the Detour, Oswald & Danny hit the boiling point. In the end, Uchenna & Joyce, the only former winning team couldn't recover from a missed connecting flight and had an emotional farewell. In the next leg, Mirna and the Beauty Queens feuded at the airport. Oswald & Danny took the Fast Forward. And even though they were low on cash, it didn't stop them. Eric & Danielle arrived last, but were marked for elimination. In the next leg, Oswald & Danny yielded Eric & Danielle, but their taxi driver couldn't cooperate, and the best friends got lost at the Detour. Eric & Danielle shrugged off their 30-minute penalty and Oswald & Danny were marked for elimination. Teams then flew to Guam, where Charla & Mirna enjoyed a plane ride. Oswald & Danny had some navigational woes. Danielle panicked at the roadblock, before realizing that she pushed the buttons on the side too many times. But Oswald & Danny couldn't catch up and were eliminated. The final leg began when teams flew to Hawaii. At the Detour, Charla excelled while Mirna had trouble keeping her balance. Dustin gasped for air. Charla had trouble maneuvering her body across the rocky terrain. While kayaking, Dustin made up a plan by jumping out of the boat and push it while walking. It doesn't work well against the waves and she and Kandice got back in the boat. And by the time they got back in the car, they lost their cool with each other. All three teams booked the same flight to Oakland. Dustin & Kandice pulled ahead, until the final challenge at the San Francisco Mint set Kandice back. Danielle eventually matched Eric's answer to open the safe containing the final clue, and the dating couple never looked back as they crossed the finish line at the Botanical Gardens to win the $1,000,000 and The Amazing Race All-Stars.
