Patricia Wettig is an American actress and playwright, most recently known for playing Vice President Caroline Reynolds in the hit Fox drama series Prison Break. At present she is starring as Holly Harper in the highly rated series Brothers & Sisters.

• One of four children born to Tennessee College basketball coach Clifford Neal and his wife Florence. Has three sisters Pam, Phyllis and Peggy.
• Is of German descent.
• Raised in Grove City, Pennsylvania
• Studied drama at Temple University in Philadelphia
• Graduated from Ohio Wesleyan in 1974
• Was personal dresser at one time for singer/dancer/actress Shirley MacLaine.
• Met Ken Olin when both were cast in a 1982 production of "A Streetcar Named Desire" who she later married the same year and had 2 children, Clifford (b. 1983)) & Roxanne (b.1986).
• Earned a master's degree in playwriting from Smith College in May 2001.
• Was a finalist in 2005 for the Blackburn Prize, awarded annually for an outstanding new English-language play by a woman, for her play, "My Andy",the story of Andy Warhol's relationship with his mother.
