- Conrad reveals to Sydney that the Passenger is her sister.
- After Jack informs Sydney of Sloane's affair with her mother, she confronts Sloane where he reveals it was from Conrad that he learned of his daughter, but was never able to find her.
- A manuscript speaks of a Rambaldi artefact known as the Hourglass, which will reveal the location of the Passenger only to her father. However, it's not recovered before Sloane's execution. It turns out to be part of a ruse as Jack later revives him.
