Michael runs into trouble when he finds a storage room that was a key part of his plan is now a C.O. break room. Meanwhile, Lincoln receives threats regarding LJ.

- Nick and Veronica narrowly avoid being killed. They go into hiding in the woods, in Nick's fathers cabin.
- LJ's mom and stepdad are killed by the hitmen, and LJ barely escapes.
- Charles Westmoreland sets fire to the C.O. break room after believing that Bellick killed Marilyn, his cat.
- Michael, Abruzzi, and crew begin digging a hole in the C.O. break room on PI, and T-Bag blackmails himself onto PI.
- The woman the hitmen work for is revealed to be the Vice President.

Route 66 is used as a reference to get from one place to the other and is mentioned as running from New York to Los Angeles. US Highway 66, known as Route 66, ran from Chicago to Los Angeles (Santa Monica, actually). Seeing as the show is based in Chicago, one would think they'd know that.
