• Born in England, UK, oldest of five children.
• Grew up in the Western Suburbs of Sydney, Australia
• Studied drama The Australian Theatre for Young People (ATYP)
• Attended the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts with classmate Hugh Jackman.
• Recently separated from his wife, Rebecca Williamson, with whom he has four children - Joseph (b.1999), Audrey (b.2001) and twins Lily-Rose and Augustus (b. July 7th 2003).
