The TV IV:Proposals/Featured Show (December 2006)

From The TV IV
Jump to: navigation, search

Welcome to the December 2006 Featured Show voting. Classic rules are back:. You may feel free to nominate any show you'd like on any grounds, including past Featured Shows, but please nominate a show that has some semblance of a set of articles up. You may make one vote for a show, but you may make multiple votes opposing a show or commenting as long as they are relevant. A random list of shows is listed below as an example of how to go about doing it, but feel free to add and comment on your own. If you want to change a vote, use <strike></strike> to preserve the historical record.

Voting will be open until November 30.

  1. There will only be one episode in December, so it makes no sense to feature it now. I like the show, but I'd rather wait until there are at least three new episodes in a month before voting for it. --Stabbey 09:28, 3 November 2006 (EST)

  • This show will air all through December, and so far it's definitely pretty good. There's still time to get the pages for this show up to snuff, and the Metalocypse pages aren't very filled out. --Stabbey 16:16, 17 November 2006 (EST)

  • There are a couple reasons I'm voting for this. First, it's the second biggest draw to the TVIV website. Second, it wraps up season one in December. Third, and more importantly, on December 31st there will be an all night marathon of the 20-episode first season. So anyone new to the show can hop on and watch the whole thing in one swoop. --Tv's emory 01:16, 10 November 2006 (EST)
  • Assuming the voting reamins a tie at the end, and the level of detail on the nominated shows stays the same, Metalocalypse should become the featured show, as it has more information then either Day Break or Grey's Anatomy. --Stabbey 10:09, 20 November 2006 (EST)
  • Agree with TV's emory. -- Lampbane 11:02, 20 November 2006 (EST)

  • As I am absolutely agnostic on any of the shows previously listed or, frankly, any of the shows I could think of, I'm intentionally nominating a show that has no chance of winning (and that frankly I don't think should win) to call attention to the fact that the second- or third-most-searched-for show that brings viewers to our site and the most-watched show on television has almost nothing filled in thus far. Does anyone watch this show? Can someone please take on this project? -- JCaesartalk 04:46, 11 November 2006 (EST)

Barring exceptional circumstances, previously featured shows are, at the moment, currently ineligible to reprise their role as a featured show.
