KAMR-TV is an NBC affiliate in Amarillo, Texas, broadcasting digital channel 19, displayed as virtual 4. KAMR-TV is owned by Nexstar Broadcasting Group. KAMR-TV operates KCPN-LP on digital subchannel 4.2 and also seen on Suddenlink. KAMR was founded on March 18, 1953 as call letters KGNC-TV, in 1974, KGNC-TV changed it call letters to KAMR-TV and was acquired by General Electric, in 1986. General Electric bought NBC in 1986, making KAMR an NBC owned-and-operated station. In 1995, Cannan Communications bought the station, then selling KAMR-TV to Quorum Broadcasting, then in 2003 to Nexstar Broadcasting Group, Inc.

KAMR is rebroadcast on 18 translators throughout the Texas Panhandle.
