- Charlie O'Donnell died on November 1, 2010. For the rest of the season, Wheel had guest announcers like Jeopardy! announcer Johnny Gilbert, The Price is Right announcer Rich Fields, Jim Thornton, Lora Cain, veteran FOX announcer Joe Cipriano, and John Cramer. After this season, Jim Thornton was named Wheel's permanent announcer and Charlie O'Donnell's replacement.
