Wheel of Fortune (1983)/Season Seven

Season Seven of Wheel of Fortune premiered on September 4, 1989.

The show left NBC Studios and moved to CBS Television City, where they would be until June 1995.
At the beginning of the show when they play the recording of people shouting "Wheel... of... Fortune!", the contestants run up on the set to their positions.
They got a new version of the theme, which was a jazzy, new wave version of "Changing Keys".
Charlie's opening announcement changed. It was no longer "Look at this studio filled with glamorous prizes..." and then announcing three prizes.
They got new backdrops behind the contestants that were shaped like the Chevron logo.
They got new sound effects, such as the buzzer, the Bankrupt noise and the beep reminding contestants that the only letters in the puzzle are vowels, and a new puzzle solve cue.
Vanna comes out with Pat when they are introduced. Originally, Pat introduced Vanna.
They allowed contestants to return if they lost the bonus round for three days.
In the bonus round, they got a stand that had the letters W-H-E-E-L. But it was not used on the daytime version.
This was the last season where they had a permanent "Free Spin" wedge on the wheel. If a contestant landed on it, they would spin again.
The second wheel prize was also added.
Midway through this season, Pat no longer spun the wheel at the beginning of the first round. However during the daytime version on CBS, Bob Goen would still spin it.
