In-Depth
- They got another new version of their theme. This time, it is more of a rock and roll version.
- The lighting around the wheel was changed.
- The "WHEEL" stand went back to the old ding sound effect, which was first used in the fall of 1992 when a contestant draws an envelope.
- Prize wedges now have artwork details added to them.
- The "Surprise" wedge was retired at some point this season.
- There are now speed-up rounds in every episode.
- They no longer allowed contestants to return for three days.
- This was the second of two seasons to have the Sony URL between the credits and the copyright.
- This was the first season to have a Game Show Network plug during the credits on some episodes.
