Plot Overview

Syaoran, Sakura, Kurogane and Fai arrive in another world only to discover that they have been turned into super-deformed (chibi) versions of themselves. When they turn to Mokona for an explanation, it is nowhere to be seen.

Mokona is somewhere else, asleep on a couch. It does not appear to be super-deformed.

The group begins to look for Mokona, and as they walk, Sakura tells Syaoran about the latest memory she recovered. She remembers the ruins in Clow, and Syaoran mentions that he's been there. The conversation ends when Sakura asks where he lived, since Sakura is not allowed to regain any memories of Syaoran.

Mokona wakes up, but does not see anyone. It begins to look around, and eventually spots one of Sakura's feathers, which is part of a pen hovering on a desk. On the desk is a drawing of Syaoran, Sakura, Fai, and Kurogane in super-deformed style. A woman comes in and explains to Mokona that the pen is enchanted, and that she is a storyteller. As a storyteller, she controls everything about the world of the story. Mokona begs for her to give the feather back, but she says that first they must save Sakura and the others from the story. Because the story was created with Sakura's feather, it drew her and the others into its world. To get them out, Mokona must rewrite the story to provide a path of escape.

Because Mokona cannot concentrate, Mokonas begin appearing throughout the world. So Mokona erases the world that's there and drops them into a setting it's more familiar with, a school. Kurogane is the homeroom teacher, Sakura is one of his students, and Syaoran is the new boy in class. Mokona writes the story so that Syaoran and Sakura knew each other from when they were young. They are interrupted during lunch by the science teacher Fai, who wants Syaoran to investigate some ruins.

At the ruins, they accidentally release a curse, which possesses Kurogane and turns him into a giant dinosaur rampaging through the streets. The only way to break the curse is for a holy man and woman to kiss, but Syaoran and Sakura are interrupted by Kurogane's ray beams. Suzuran and Sōseki kiss instead, causing a giant Mokona robot to emerge. It begins to battle Kurogane, but instead sucks him in, then the others. They emerge inside the room where Mokona is. None of them remember what happened, and Mokona looks around to find that the storyteller has disappeared. Mokona is a bit sad, so Sakura allows it to keep the feather for a bit longer. Mokona transports them to another world. When the leave, the room and everything else disappears.
