Trivia
- He portrayed the World's Most Interesting Man in TV commercials and print ads for Dos Equis beer.
- A frequent guest on Quinn Martin-produced series (as Jonathan Lippe), Goldsmith was eventually banned from appearing on QM shows due to a faux pas involving the famed TV producer. He approached Martin at a company Christmas party and thanked him for giving him a lot of work, something that unnerved Martin, who wasn't too comfortable around actors to begin with, and insisted that Goldsmith be given no more work. Eventually, Martin sold the company to outside investors, Goldsmith reverted to his real name for billing purposes, and began to work for the company again.
