From The TV IV
Batman: The Animated Series is an animated series based on the popular Batman comics created by Bob Kane. The show was so successful that it spawned several DC Animated shows, such as Batman: Gotham Knights, Batman Beyond, Superman: The Animated Series and Justice League Unlimited.
