Batman: The Animated Series (later retitled The Adventures of Batman & Robin) is an animated series based on the popular Batman comics created by Bob Kane. The show was so successful that it spawned several DC Animated shows, such as Batman Beyond, Superman: The Animated Series and Justice League Unlimited.
In 1997, the series moved to Kids WB and was renamed The New Batman Adventures. That year, a special long-form episode crossover with Superman: The Animated Series was screened. World's Finest had Batman and Superman forming an uneasy alliance against a team-up of the Joker with Lex Luthor.
