Beware the Batman is the latest series in the Batman franchise, replacing Batman: The Brave and the Bold on Cartoon Network. In contrast to past series, Beware the Batman is in CGI.
Batman teams up with his butler, Alfred Pennyworth, and swordmistress Katana (the codename of Tatsu Yamashiro, Alfred's goddaughter) in fighting the criminal underworld. While the Joker, Penguin and Riddler are conspicuously absent, the Dark Knight does face criminals such as Ra's Al Ghul, Tobias Whale, Anarky, Professor Pyg and Mister Toad.
