DVD Releases

A release of a boxed DVD set of Batman was announced in January 2014, initially on Conan O'Brien's Twitter feed and later confirmed by Warner Bros. [1] The box set will be released by Warner Home Video later in 2014. Prior to the announcement, the series had not been released officially on home video due to rights issues involving ownership of the series itself, [2] music clearance, uncredited cameo appearances by celebrities [3] and issues involving items used on the show, such as the Batmobile and some costumes worn by the characters [4]
