The TV IV:Proposals/Franchises
From The TV IV
There are a few franchises on TV, such as Scooby-Doo and Star Trek. Here's a couple thoughts I had on what we should do with them:
- Have a template at the bottom of the program page for each show in the franchise that lists all of the shows and anything else that is applicable to the franchise. Here's an example:
- Have some kind of Previous Show/Next Show, either in the Program template or as its own template. As in, The New Scooby-Doo Movies would have a previous show of Scooby-Doo, Where Are You and a next show of The Scooby-Doo/Dynomutt Hour.
- Have a franchise category, as in Category:Scooby-Doo would have each Scooby-Doo show's category in it, and then maybe it would be in Category:Franchises or something similar.
- In Scooby-Doo's case, all of the characters could live under Scooby-Doo/ rather than each individual show. So, there would be just Scooby-Doo/Scooby-Doo instead of Scooby-Doo, Where Are You/Scooby-Doo and The New Scooby-Doo Movies/Scooby-Doo.
