Emilie de Ravin is an Australian actress. She played the role of Claire Littleton on ABC's Lost.

Biography
Studying ballet since the age of 9, de Ravin was accepted into the highly selective and prestigious Australian Ballet School in Melbourne at 15. She performed in productions of the Australian Ballet Company and with Danceworld 301. De Ravin studied acting at Australia's National Institute of Dramatic Art, and with the Prime Time Actors Studio in Los Angeles, California. Emilie de Ravin lives in California with her husband, actor Josh Janowicz, whom she married in June 2006.
De Ravin began her acting career in the fantasy drama, BeastMaster. After her agent told her of a role as Tess Harding in Roswell, she flew out and auditioned for the role. Winning the role, she was written out of BeastMaster and relocated from Melbourne, Australia, to California. She is now on the Emmy Award-winning ABC series Lost as Claire Littleton. Having started out in television, de Ravin has since branched out into film. She debuted in the indie film Brick, winner of the Special Jury Prize at the 2005 Sundance Film Festival, and the 2006 remake of The Hills Have Eyes.
