WKEF is an ABC affiliate in Dayton, Ohio. The station broadcasts on digital channel 51 displayed to tuners on virtual channel 22 and is owned by Sinclair Broadcast Group. It's sister station is FOX affiliate WRGT-TV channel 45.
WKEF first began in 1964 as an independent station before becoming an ABC affiliate for the first time in 1965. In 1980, the station swapped networks with WDTN and became an NBC affiliate. In 2004, the station swapped with WDTN again and rejoined ABC.
