Star Wars: Detours is a proposed animated science fiction comedy series in the Star Wars franchise which takes place during the period between the films Episode III: Revenge of the Sith and Episode IV: A New Hope.

Seth Green and Matt Senreich, the creators of Robot Chicken, are involved in the development of this series, which is set following the collapse of the old Galactic Republic in Revenge of the Sith. The main characters from the feature films are slated to appear in the series, which will be a comedic take on the events of the Star Wars saga. Some actors from the Star Wars movies, including Anthony Daniels (C-3PO), Billy Dee Williams (Lando Calrissian) and Ahmed Best (Jar Jar Binks), are slated to reprise their roles in the series.

Lucasfilm Ltd. (which will co-produce Star Wars: Detours with Lucasfilm Animation and Green and Senreich's production company Stoopid Monkey) announced on March 11, 2013 that production of the show will be placed on hiatus for the time being while the company continues development of its upcoming Star Wars sequel trilogy, beginning with Episode VII: The Force Awakens. [1] Green later reported that 39 episodes of the series have completed filming, while another 62 finished scripts await production. [2]
