Star Wars: Underworld is the working title for a proposed episodic science fiction series in the Star Wars franchise which takes place during the period between the films Episode III: Revenge of the Sith and Episode IV: A New Hope.

The series is set following the collapse of the old Galactic Republic in Revenge of the Sith, during the formative years of the dictatorial Galactic Empire regime which replaced the old Republic. None of the main characters from the feature films are slated to appear as regular characters in the series, which will instead focus on minor characters in the Star Wars universe (both from the feature films and the franchise's related Expanded Universe).
