Gilmore Girls (2000–2007) is a dramedy that aired on The WB for its first six seasons and on The CW for season seven. Stars Hollow, Connecticut is the home of Lorelai Gilmore, her daughter Rory and their wonderful friends who handle real life in the way we all want to, with a quirky outlook that proves to be touching and funny.

While most shows can't survive the transition from high school and home life to college life, Gilmore Girls has actually grown. The cute, innocent waif had finally begun to rebel against her mother. It remained one of the best written shows on television with conversations as good as The West Wing had in its heyday.
