Basic Information
Jason is the son of Floyd Stiles, Richard's boss for seasons 1-2 and 5 onwards. At the end of season 2, Richard leaves his company because he feels they are moving him out of the company he helped build. Later, near the beginning of season 4 we find out Richard was pushed out to make room for Jason (The Hobbit, the Sofa, and Digger Stiles). In season 4, Jason leaves his father's company to join forces with Richard.
Character History
Jason grew up with Lorelai. They attended camps together and Jason knows Christopher as well.

Trivia
- He owns a strange dog named Cyrus which makes no noise and doesn't move, except on command. When Lorelai first sees it, she thinks the dog is a statue. Jason taught Cyrus commands that only his dog would know, like "a little to the left".
