Plot Overview

The Dragonfly hosts a test-run weekend, and it seems everyone Lorelai knows is there, oohing, aahing, laughing, loving -- clashing, crying, fuming, leaving.

The Dragonfly Inn is buzzing with activity in preparation for the test run. The final pieces of construction are happening, the guest list is being finalized, the kitchen is prepared.

At lunch at Luke's, Lorelai tells Rory that she thinks she's dating Luke, but she's not sure.

At Friday night dinner, conversation is strained as Richard and Emily are still arguing and trying to hide that from Lorelai and Rory. Lorelai invites both Richard and Emily to the test run of the inn.

During the test run of the inn, Jason shows up and says he wants to make up with Lorelai as everyone is eating dinner. He refuses to leave even though she tells him its over, there is nothing to discuss. He tries to rent a room for the night, then when that fails he sits down in the lobby and reads, waiting.

Later that evening Luke goes over and introduces himself to Jason. Jason says he is Lorelai's boyfriend, and they have been dating for six months. After Jason leaves for the men's room, Lorelai returns and Luke confronts her, angry that he has, he believe, been led on. Lorelai says Jason is not her boyfriend, and Luke kisses her.

Kirk comes running down the stairs, naked and goes running out of the inn. Luke leaves Lorelai and runs after Kirk.

Lorelai returns home for a camera and when she gets downstairs she finds Rory coming out of her room, and Dean right behind her. Rory is barefooted. Dean leaves quickly and Rory confesses they had sex. Lorelai is stunned and argues with Rory. Dean is a married man.
