Happenings

  • Will learns that Francie has been replaced by Allison Doren. Sydney later discovers Francie has been doubled and they get into a fight that ends with Sydney shooting her three times, twice in the chest.
  • Sloane compiles everything he needs for a Rambaldi machine called The Telling. It remains unknown what it reveals.

Characters

  • Sark is apprehended and put in CIA custody.
  • Allison stabs Will where Sydney later finds his body in the bathtub. We're later told he's okay.
  • After her fight with Doren, Sydney wakes up with a scar on her stomach in Hong Kong. In a safe house, she is contacted by Vaughn, who she observes is wearing a wedding ring, and he tells her she's been presumed dead and missing for nearly two years.

  • The episode does not feature the title sequence with the credits displayed over the very beginning of the episode.

Behind the Scenes

  • The fight between Sydney and Francie took two days to film.
  • Merrin Dungey had problems in scene of making out with David Anders as she had recently broken up with her boyfriend who happened to be a close friend of Anders'.
  • According to Abrams, Dungey was anxious to shoot the fight scenes as she was tired of playing a sentimental, non-action character.
