The X-Files is a science fiction-based show about two FBI agents who investigate cases with a paranormal edge. Over nine seasons Agents Mulder and Scully tackled alien invasions, serial killers, liver eating mutants and all manner of odd creatures. It spawned a feature film in 1998, two video games, a spin-off show, The Lone Gunmen, and a second film is in the works.
