- The character was originally played by Natalija Nogulich with the intent of serving to contrast a woman with Deep Throat. However, the role was recast when everyone felt there was something missing.
- While Nogulich filmed her scene in "Sleepless" before it was reshot, the character's informal introduction in "The Host" was clearly filmed with her (or with her in mind), as we briefly see the hand of X which is shown to be white.
