[edit] Plot Overview

Gibbs house is up for sale and he's in the process of moving out when his old friend, FBI Agent Tobias Fornell, arrives. Petty Officer Derek Polson had escaped from prison. He was part of a case that Gibbs and Fornell worked together. Polson always maintained his innocence.

Polson had been near Fornell's young daughter, Emily, and obliquely threatened her. Fornell begs Gibbs to help find Folsun and put him back in jail.

As Gibbs and his team follow Polson, they discover that he is leading them to locations that relate his case. Gibbs begins to think that Polson might actually be innocent.
