Mark Harmon is a prolific actor, having appeared in numerous television shows and movies since his first few character roles for Police Woman, Adam-12 and Emergency in the mid-1970s. Most recently, Harmon has appeared as Special Agent Gibbs on the Belisarius Productions show NCIS, as well as appearing in the recent Disney remake of the classic movie Freaky Friday. In addition to these roles, he made four appearances on the hit show The West Wing as Agent Simon Donovan and received an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Drama Series.
