Plot Overview
Mac and Dennis are walking to work arguing after a night of drinking, and when they arrive Charlie tells them that there has been a break-in. They argue a bit and Mac suggests that they buy a gun. Charlie and Dee are against the idea but Dennis and Mac want to get one because of the cops uninterest in the break-in. They buy a gun and place it behind the bar saying that they hope they never have to pick it up again, but then immediately decide to go and shoot it. Charlie comes over and yells at them about not opening the bar, but as soon as he holds the gun he wants to shoot it as well.
Meanwhile, Dee's boyfriend is showing her how to shoot at his gun range. She doesn't seem to enjoy it as much as the guys. At the bar, Dennis and Mac look for their gun, but Charlie has taken it. His superintendent comes to the apartment looking for the rent, but Charlie shows his gun stuffed in his pants and it scares the superintendent off.
At the bar, Dennis and Mac are trying to investigate who stole the safe from the bar and Dennis believes he knows who's responsible. They go and get the gun and head to Fingers, a bar which had already been robbed. They decide to try and get Colin to rob Paddy's again. They tell him that they are closed for the night and that the robber didn't get all of the money because they have some hidden in another spot. Back at the bar, Mac and Dennis are hiding explaining to Dee why they got the gun. Someone shows up and goes to the cash register, and when the gang comes out he starts running. Dennis shoots the guy in the head, who turns out to be Charlie.
At the hospital the guys argue about whose fault it is until they go in to see Charlie. He says that he was trying to make it look like the other robberies and they tell him that they are getting rid of the gun. After Dee leaves they assure Charlie that they are keeping the gun. Meanwhile Dee is calling Colin to tell him of Charlie condition; Colin is robbing Paddy's again.
