Kaitlin Olson is an improv actress who has appeared on several improv comedy series including Meet the Marks and Kelsey Grammer Presents: The Sketch Show. Her first starring role on a scripted television show was on the FX sitcom, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia.

Kaitlin Olson was born in Portland, Oregon. She attended the University of Oregon where she majored in theater. After graduating from UO, she moved to Los Angeles to persue acting professionally. In Los Angeles, Olson started out in the Groundlings Theatre as an improv comic until she caught the attention of Drew Carey, who led her to playing a recurring role on The Drew Carey Show and several of his improv television series. Following her stint on Carey's sitcom, she joined him as a performer on the USO tour.
In 2005, after landing recurring roles on several prank and improv series like Punk'd, Olson starred in her first scripted comedy series, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia as "Sweet Dee" Reynolds.
