Block
From The TV IV
A block refers to a group of television programs branded together under a common banner and placed adjoining each other on the network's schedule. The programs may share similar elements, such as the same format, style, or production company. Often the branding is done for ease of marketing. A block that airs on several days a week, in sequential order, is called a strip.

² While Jetix technically started out as a strip that aired four hours a night, it has now expanded to the point where there is more Jetix programming on the Toon Disney channel than there is non-Jetix programming. Some speculate that the whole channel will eventually change to Jetix.
