WXII is an NBC affiliate in Winston-Salem/Greensboro/High Point, North Carolina (licensed to Winston-Salem). The station broadcasts on digital channel 31 and is owned by Hearst-Argyle Television.
WXII first opened in 1953 as an NBC affiliate with a secondary ABC affiliation. In 1963, the station dropped ABC as a secondary affiliate and became a sole NBC affiliate, and went to WGHP/channel 8 (now a FOX affiliate).
