The Complete 7th Season DVD box set for The Simpsons was released on December 13, 2005. It contains all 25 episodes from the 7th season of the series, including the second part of "Who Shot Mr. Burns," which completes the storyline started at the end of season six.

Overview

The seventh season of the Simpsons was released in two types of packaging, the first in the standard format in which most of the previous sets were pacakged in and the second in a "collector's edition" box shaped like Marge's head.

The two versions were produced due to the outcry from fans over the season six DVDs, which was not formatted like the previous releases. Both sets are fundamentally the same outside of the differing packaging.
