- The episode lacks the title sequence with all the opening credits withheld until they are displayed over the final scene.
Behind the Scenes
- The reveal of O'Neill as the twist is dismissed by Carter and Mitchell because it will be "in the commercials." This is an allusion to how plot twists would be spoiled in advertisements. The writers correctly anticipated that the reveal would be spoiled as it wound being used in bumps for the episode.
Allusions and References
- The Vala sequence is clearly parodying Farscape, which also starred Ben Browder and Claudia Black. However, the two actors chose not to reprise their original roles in the scene.
