[edit] Biography
Ben Browder was born December 11th, 1962 in Memphis, Tennessee. He went to high school at Myers Park High School in Charlotte, North Carolina and earned a bachelors in Psychology from Furman University in Greenville, South Carolina. He then went to the Central School of Speech and Drama in London, England, where he met his wife, Francesca Buller. An interesting tidbit is that Francesca Buller, played War Minister Ahkna in Farscape: The Peacekeeper Wars, and was shot by his on screen wife Aeryn Sun played by Claudia Black.
His first large role as an actor came when he played Sam Brody in Party of Five, during the third season. But his four season stretch as John Crichton on the Sci Fi Channel series Farscape, is what has made him fairly well known. After Farscape was cancelled in 2004, he took up the role of Cameron Mitchell on Sci Fi's series Stargate SG-1, where he replaced Richard Dean Anderson.
