Episode Breakdown

Wraparound Segments

  • The Ambiguously Gay Duo's Monologue: The Ambiguously Gay Duo (Colbert and Carell) profess their ambiguously gay love for Jimmy Fallon, they also show off photographs of them with half-naked male statues and eating a foot long hotdog.
  • Craft Services: Ace and Gary take a break from showing cartoons to talk to Maya Rudolph and Chris Parnell about what Jimmy Fallon is like.
  • Hair and Make-Up: Ace and Gary stop into the hair and make-up room where Rachel Dratch is preparing for a sketch. They ask her what kind of hair product Jimmy Fallon uses and declare that they wish they could get his head.
  • Wardrobe Department: In the wardrobe department, Ace and Gary ask Darrell Hammond, Seth Meyers, Amy Poehler and Fred Armisen what Jimmy Fallon's measurements are. When Meyers asks who their second favorite cast member is, they list a bunch of action heroes and others who aren't in the cast, but flee when they realize they don't like anyone else on the show.
  • Jimmy Replacements: Ace and Gary meet up with Tina Fey, who tells them that Jimmy Fallon hasn't been on the show for a while and he was "sorta replaced" by Andy Samberg and Jason Sudeikis. The two come around the corner and are attacked by Ace and Gary.
  • Wrestling: Kristen Wiig and Keenan Thompson go looking for Ace and Gary, and find them wrestling with Samberg and Sudeikis now that they're friends. Gary explains that they recognize Samberg from a video they saw on the internet where he had to huddle together with a park ranger for warmth in a sleeping bag.
  • Lorne's Office: Horatio Sanz and Will Forte come in to Lorne's office to tell him that Sudeikis and Samberg are missing. At the top of the building, Ace and Gary are offering the two to come with them to their "fortress of privacy." When they're told to strip and wear blindfolds, Sudeikis is uneasy but Samberg jumps into it quickly. Back in Lorne's office, Finesse Mitchell and Bill Hader have come in and have decided to split Sudeikis' parts between them (Mitchell takes "the black ones") since Samberg only appeared in pre-taped video. As the Ambiguously Gay Duo flies off, Jimmy Fallon can be seen, crying from his apartment.
