[edit] Plot Overview

Captain Grisham learns from Vera of a pact between Tessa's late father Don Alvarado and Don's Miguel and Hidalgo to bury the gold of Don Horatio, killed by Colonel Montoya in a duel. The gold to be given to the peasants as they need it. The pact involves a map in three parts held by each Don. This puts the lives of Tessa and the Dons in danger as Grisham is determined to find the map as with the gold he can finally escape the grip of Montoya. Montoya finds out and is equally determined to get the gold. The Queen with Marta's help have to thwart their plans.

Captain Grisham has a chance to shoot The Queen but to spite Montoya does not take it.
