Queen of Swords is an action / adventure series that aired in Syndication set in 19th Century Spanish California about the Daughter of a murdered Don who returns home, from Madrid, to find her home in ruins and the town of Santa Helena and the surrounding countryside under the control of an oppressive military governor. Compared with Zorro, but with it's own defined characters, all with secrets to hide explored over the 22 episodes, that set it apart. Lasted one season, but with worldwide reruns has gained cult status.

In France the series was released in 2006 (Sous Le Signe De L'Epee) on a PAL multi-region DVD with both dubbed French and original English soundtracks, optional French subtitles and a 16:9 aspect ratio as it was filmed. This is available from amazon.fr. The series has not been officially released in the US.
