Danny Pickett is one of the mysterious Others. He is played by Michael Bowen and has appeared in seven episodes to date.

Basic Information

Danny Pickett is one of the mysterious Others and presumably lived with them in their small community in the interior of the island. He was married to another Other, Colleen, until she was killed.

Season Two

Pickett was with the group of Others who captured Michael when he left the Swan in search of his missing son, Walt. When a party went out to find and bring back Michael, Kate was also captured by the group Pickett was with. Alex asked him to bring Kate out instead of her. When the group brought Michael to the Door, he took some of Michael's blood.

Season Three

After Jack, Kate and Sawyer were captured by the Others and brought to the Hydra, Pickett was tasked as Kate and Sawyer's keeper. He supervised their containment in former polar bear cages and their work at a construction site. Short-tempered, Pickett threatened to taser either of them should they do anything to piss him off.

After Colleen was shot and killed by Sun, Pickett sought revenge on his captives - notably Sawyer. Pickett wanted to kill him, but his desire was kept in check by Ben. However, that didn't stop him from beating Sawyer. At one point Pickett repeatedly punched Sawyer in the face, demanding Kate tell him if she loved Sawyer, until Kate finally admitted that she did.

When Jack agreed to perform a surgical procedure on Ben, Pickett saw his chance to finally kill Sawyer while Ben was unconscious. He pulled Sawyer from his cage and was moments away from putting a bullet in Sawyer's head when Tom got a hold of him over the radio. He was told to give his walkie talkie to Kate or Jack would let Ben die. In the resulting confusion, Sawyer disarmed him, slammed him head-first into the polar bear reward machine and was knocked unconscious from the resulting electric shock. After coming to, he was freed from the cage by an Other and went off after Sawyer and Kate. He eventually cornered Sawyer and Kate as they were preparing to leave the island by boat, but was gunned down by Juliet.
