Biography
Hana survived a 1989 suicide attack in Israel that killed her mother and grandmother, leaving her father to raise her alone. The cowardly terrorist attack filled her with anger and a hunger for revenge. Her superior officers considered her too hostile to send into combat and had her work a desk job attached to Mosad. She performed well and was promoted to Lieutenant, but was still unhappy. She continued training herself physically and put in field hours walking the perimeter of the compound. One night she saw a shadow, but doubting her heart, she disobeyed regulations that allowed her to shoot on sight and hesitated. The shadow kicked her to the ground. It was Mr. Bennet. He told her he wasn't there to hurt her, but to change her life.
He claimed to be CIA, and took Hana to a secret Alaskan facility where she underwent intense physical training and testing. She got impatient and one day she got angry with Mr. Bennet and asked him what they were testing for. She intercepted a text message to Mr. Bennet from a person called "Thompson", asking him when she would manifest. She "saw" the message before his phone even rang. When she realized this, she suddenly was able to see, read and sense all the electronic communication that was flooding the world. She froze up and Mr. Bennet knocked her out to save her mind. Hana lay in a coma for weeks. During this time, all the facilities's incoming emails only had one word - Kadima. When Hana woke up, she mental-texted Mr. Bennet's phone, telling him Kadima meant "attack". Mr. Bennet asked her if she sent that to him with her mind. She confirmed this by mental-texting him another message. He told her he think's it's time for her first mission.
She was sent to Tanzania to electronically eavesdrop on communications sent by Dr. Henry Strauss, a microbiologist developing a method to change the normally harmless bacteria in the human stomach into something deadly. She got close enough to the compound to eavesdrop and send the information to Mr. Bennet, but she was captured after a brief struggle. She escaped her cell, but was caught in the open by more guards with assault rifles, and a tank. With no active electronics within 100 miles, she was on her own.
Powers and Abilities
Hana has the ability to sense, send, receive, steal and destroy electronic communication. Based entirely on instinct, she can manipulate these electronic communications without thinking about it. She can also detect messages before they arrive. However, the volume of electronic communication can overwhelm her to the point that she could go into a coma. She is also required to be close to "hear" electronic communication.
