Happenings
Ted Sprague was last seen in the custody of Homeland Security, and we now learn how he escaped. His anger over having his life ruined by his powers, and the thought of being locked up with no chance to learn how he got his powers combined to make a large explosion that destroyed the van he was in, along with the soldiers escorting him.
Ted runs to somewhere in Nevada, where he isolates himself. He buys weapons from a guy who looks remarkably like Walter Sobchak from The Big Lebowski. Ted is now shown to be the person that was corresponding with Hana Gitelman in the previous issue under the name "Teddiebear616". Hana finds him, and they talk about their similarities. They were both manipulated by Mr. Bennet, and they both wanted revenge. Hana is showing Ted a schematic of the needle that was used on them, and says that Ted can track it down since he used to work in pharmaceuticals, when she reads a message and tells Ted that he is in danger. She leaves and tells Ted to do the same. He doesn't and is soon confronted with armed soldiers in vehicles and helicopters.
