Season Twenty-Five

Season Twenty-Four of Doctor Who premiered on September 7, 1987. Usually regarded as the absolute worst season of Doctor Who, season twenty-four boasts four of the most unpopular episodes the show ever produced. Time and the Rani is the worst of the four, and the most unpopular episode of the show. The next three suffer from poor production, acting, and scripts, but each is a slight improvement on the last (Dragonfire being said by many as the best of the season). This season came in a time when the show had its lowest budgets, a script editor who was just hired, and also included Mel, who had some of the most embarrassing "scream at the camera" moments in the entire show's run.
