[edit] Plot Overview

Billie and Christy's imaginary friend Dumain arrives to convince to the sisters that the Charmed Ones are selfish women who have no regard for the Greater Good or the magical community that represents good magic. However, Dumain is working with the Triad (who have resurrected themselves as spirits) and uses Billie's knowledge of the Halliwells' previous encounters to enthrall the Charmed Ones into overwhelming obsessions that cause them to neglect the magical community when many of them are slaughtered by a group of Assassin demons (also a set of by Dumain). This is enough to convince Billie and the magical community that the Charmed Ones are not interested in the Greater Good, turning against them. To protect themselves from the various beings of good and the Jenkins sisters, Paige orbs her sisters and the Book of Shadows to Magic School but thanks to carefully placed wards around that establishment, they are accidentally stranded in the Underworld.

  • This episode was particularly horrible in its execution and it's even more disappointing because the premise of the episode isn't that bad. It seemed as though all three of the actresses were just ready to leave this show due to their mediocre performances, particularly when they came out of their spells. Also, it says a lot when the highlights of an episode is Piper vacuuming up the fairy's ashy remains and the end would have been suspenseful if they writers bothered explain why Paige couldn't just orb them out of the Underworld. Piper or Phoebe could have addressed this issue and Paige could have responded by saying that she's exhausted because of the barrier she hit or something. Instead, the fans must once again make our own conclusions because the writers are incapable of spelling it out for the audience. Grade: F --Contrivance 23:25, 19 August 2006 (EDT)
