- Marcie Ross: Marcie is an unpopular girl who attended Sunnydale High and was ignored by everyone, teachers and students alike. Because Marcie was never noticed, she ceased to exist in visible space. Apparently this happens fairly often because the FBI has an entire classroom full of invisible children being trained as assassins.
[edit] Body Count
There were no deaths in this episode.

- Vampire Lore: Another bit of vampire information, borrowed from traditional vampire lore, is displayed in this episode. Vampires do not cast a reflection, which is why Giles could not see Angel in the bookcase glass.
- Prophecy: Angel gives Giles the Pergamum Codex in this episode after saving Giles, Willow and Xander from dying in the boiler room. The Codex contains prophecies and other information about the slayer and has been lost from the Watcher archives for a very long time.

[edit] The Show
- FBI Textbook: In the final scene where Marcie enters the invisible children classroom and opens her textbook, she opens it to a chapter entitled "Assassination and Infiltration." The body of the case study presented is actually the lyrics to "Happiness is a Warm Gun" by The Beatles.
[edit] Behind the Scenes
